Votes shown in brackets after artist's name, where known (in the order LW DM CC SC). Song choices (where known) are given with original performing artist - as in most cases the performer puts their own spin on it anyway. Artists are colour-coded according to their category: Boys (16-24), Girls (16-24), Over 25s, and Groups.
Despina Pilavakis (YYYY)
Her voice has such variety, seems to be in her element, very good.
SC: "Very, very, very good."
CC: "I think it was really composed, and I think you had a gorgeous sounding voice."
DM: "Brilliant first audition."
(Song choice: Joan Armatrading - The Weakness In Me)
Amie Buck (YYYN)
I think her first song was a lot better than the judges made it out to be. She is a really good singer but obviously got just too nervous here.
SC: "Heard enough."
CC: "Well I'm gonna start off by sayin' I think you look like a pop star already; you look absolutely fantastic. But I think that song was too big for you Amie. I really do."
LW: "Cheryl I agree."
CC: "I think you've got a nice pop voice."
LW: "I agree totally."
SC: "Amie, I think you've got a good voice, but it's not a great voice. You're very well prepared, you look fantastic. But I don't think your voice is good enough darling."
LW: "Amie, listen, listen, we're not saying you're bad. I think you're a good pop singer; I don't think you're a big diva singer."
SC: "So you've gotta work out in your mind the right kind of song for you. Alright well why don't you sing the Girls Aloud song?"
(Amy sings her second song)
LW: "Amie, I'll stand by you."
CC: "You've got absolutely everything going for you; we just need to get rid of the nerves and tick that last box."
SC: "Amie, I would give a huge thank you to [the crowd], and [Cheryl]; you've made it through to boot camp, congratulations."
SC: "D'you know what, she's a trier!"
LW: "She picked herself up."
CC: "We've got a little pop star in her."
(Song choice: Alicia Keys - Fallin')
(Second song: The Pretenders - I'll Stand By You)
Curtis Moore (YYYY)
Good story, I think! He does have that swagger about him, for the kind of song he was singing he seemed to fit right in.
CC: "Hmm... There's just something cheeky chappy about you and I actually do like you yes. I think you've got a little bit of that Chris Brown swagger-type style goin' on."
SC: "How do you think you did? Curtis, you and I are going to have a little conversation and it's called 'attitude', right? Seriously, you've got to zip it, alright, and stop being such a smart-arse, okay? If you don't want to be here you can go. 'Cause I really like you, Curtis, really like you. Yeah, y'know, but you've got to listen to what people say, okay, that's the deal. But let's start from here: you came on here to get a break, you may get a break from this, I think you're really talented, I actually like your swagger. But you have to work with people, right? You have to take the good news and the bad news."
SC: "Curtis, I think you are incredibly current."
CC: "Yes."
SC: "Right, one of the most current artists we've had on the audition process so far, right. Maybe this is the first time people are actually believing in you as a person. I think you're really really talented and I actually like you."
SC: "I liked him."
SC: "You... couldn't work with him."
LW: "No I couldn't."
CC: "I could."
LW: "No no, I couldn't, I couldn't."
SC: "I could as well."
LW: "She could."
SC: "I would, I would like..."
CC: "I would love to."
SC: "Yeah."
LW: "I would hate to."
SC: "Yeah."
CC: "I would tell him."
LW: "You're absolutely right."
(Song choice: Mario - Let Me Love You)
Siren
Really good, possibly the best duo so far.
LW: "This is like Leona in stereo."
SC: "Could we clone you? Me? Fantastic!"
(Song choice: Brenda Russell - Get Here)
Scott James (YYYY)
Great story, nice guy, strong classical voice.
CC: "What a shame you have been hid away for so long. That was absolutely fantastic."
LW: "Scott, I am totally surprised. I think you sang your heart out."
DM: "Scott, we just ask people to come in here and be themselves but sing with passion and soul. That was really beautiful."
SC: "How did that make you feel Scott? I can't understand what it must have felt like for all those years hiding away. And now you've come here, big stage, you've just won over the whole of Manchester; you've won us over. I think you're terrific Scott."
DM: "That was amazing."
LW: "Wow."
(Song choice: Secret Garden - You Raise Me Up)
Daniel Pearce (YYYY)
Very good singer; he seemed completely comfortable singing the song and sang with a lot of passion
LW: "Daniel, I admire you; I admire you for trying, cause y'know if at first you don't succeed, you try and you try again. You're a trier and you're talented. I'm not sure about the hair by the way!"
SC: "I mean, who cares about his hair? Quite simply, that's how you do it, right? You absolutely 100% Daniel, nailed that song. And you know what, it probably is quite awkward for you to come back under these circumstances. But who cares when you can sing like that? It doesn't matter! I mean genuinely!"
CC: "I'm not shocked by any of that. I knew you were amazing, you just proved it to everyone else."
CC: "He's great isn't he?"
LW: "Yeah I think he's a really... he's a nice guy, he's a nice guy."
CC: "He's a really nice guy."
(Song choice: Seal - Kiss From A Rose)
Nicole Jackson (YYY?)
Really beautiful voice.
SC: "Very good."
(Song choice: Céline Dion - Think Twice)
Project A
A bit cheesy, but for a girl band, they were alright to be honest.
(Song choice: Lady Gaga - Just Dance)
M&G (YYYY)
Seem to have a good harmony, I guess a bit like JLS.
SC: "This is what this show's all about, people like you."
(Song choice: Boys II Men - End Of The Road)
Daniel Fox (YYYY)
Good strong classical voice, not sure how he would cope with more traditional pop songs though.
CC: "This could be the moment that your life changes."
SC: "The audience just got bigger."
(Song choice: I don't know - if anyone knows this one then let me know!!)
Rachel Adedeji (YYYY)
Actually I didn't think she was that amazing here, the voice was a bit squeaky sometimes. Her audition last year was good though.
CC: "Welcome back."
SC: "Here we go again; you're through to the next round."
(Song choice: Alicia Keys - If I Ain't Got You)
Graziella Affinita
She has a good voice but she seemed like she was trying a bit too hard; a bit shouty sometimes.
SC: "I absolutely love this girl, really do."
CC: "I really enjoyed it."
SC: "You are sailing through to the next round, congratulations."
(Song choice: Alicia Keys - If I Ain't Got You)
Trucolorz
Very rare that a foreign group gets through the auditions, they were only okay to be honest.
(Song choice: Lady Gaga - Just Dance)
